A Christmas of sweetness and solidarity: with Giacomazzi 1968 panettone, €1,500 donated to Giocamico ODV

This year too, we chose to make Christmas a little sweeter not only for those who enjoyed our artisanal panettoni, but also for those who truly needed it.

Thanks to the affection and participation of so many customers, during the 2025/2026 holiday season we managed to reach a milestone that fills us with pride: 1,500 panettoni sold and 1,500 euros donated to the Giocamico ODV association, which works every day to bring comfort and smiles to the young patients of the “Pietro Barilla” Children’s Hospital in Parma.

A small gesture, a great meaning

Behind every panettone purchased was a promise: 1 euro donated for every package sold. A simple, concrete, and transparent promise that we kept thanks to the trust of those who chose us. And just as we knead every sweet by hand with care and attention, we wanted this initiative to be the result of authenticity, responsibility, and commitment to our local community.

The official delivery: a moment we will carry in our hearts

The donation was delivered directly to the Children’s Hospital during an informal but deeply moving meeting. Enrico Giacomazzi, representing the company, presented the symbolic 1,500-euro check to a delegation of volunteers from the association, including president Corrado Vecchi. Words, smiles, and handshakes made this moment a tangible symbol of how artisanal work can intertwine with solidarity.

“We wanted to do our part to support those who, every day, take care of the little ones during a delicate time in their lives. Giocamico is an extraordinary organization, and we firmly believe in the value of their work,” Enrico Giacomazzi stated during the meeting.

Who is Giocamico

Giocamico ODV is one of the most precious organizations in our local community. Through the tireless work of over 200 volunteers, it carries out an essential activity within the “Pietro Barilla” Children’s Hospital in Parma. Every day, it works to create play areas, recreational activities, and tailored psychological support programs for hospitalized children and their families.

Thanks to the donation received, the association will be able to fund a new project dedicated to the emotional support of young patients who must undergo complex exams, such as MRI scans, helping them experience the moment with greater serenity and without fear.

Together we can make a difference: 1,500 gestures that do good

Behind every panettone purchased lies a gesture of generosity, a small contribution that has become something greater. It is proof that even a simple sweet, if chosen consciously, can become a vehicle for care, closeness, and hope.

Together, we have transformed the Christmas tradition into a concrete opportunity to do good, and we are certain that every bite of those panettoni had an even more special taste.

Heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported us

To those who chose our panettoni for themselves or as a gift, and to those who believed in the value of this initiative, our heartfelt thanks. Every year we strive to improve, not only in the taste and quality of our products, but also in the contribution we can offer to our local community.

Your support is our strength. And as long as there are those who believe in the power of things done with love, we will continue to knead sweets and solidarity, one slice at a time.
