With Giacomazzi 1968 panettone, we did good: 1500 euros donated to Giocamico
This year, Christmas was even more special thanks to the extraordinary participation of those who chose Giacomazzi 1968 artisanal panettone . Each panettone purchased not only made the holidays sweeter, but also contributed to an important charity . For every panettone sold, €1 was donated to the Giocamico association , and we are thrilled to announce that we have reached our goal of 1,500 panettone sales , for a total of €1,500 donated .
A solidarity ceremony at the Children's Hospital
The donation took place in a simple and informal ceremony held at the "Pietro Barilla" Children's Hospital in Parma . During the meeting, Enrico Giacomazzi , owner of Giacomazzi 1968, officially handed over the check to a delegation of volunteers from the Giocamico association , led by President Corrado Vecchi . It was a moment of sharing that underscored the value of this charitable initiative, which combines the tradition of confectionery with solidarity.
"I learned about the extraordinary work done by Giocamico volunteers and the positive impact they have on children and their families. The idea of doing something to support their activities was born precisely from this awareness," said Enrico Giacomazzi during the ceremony.
Who is Giocamico?
Giocamico ODV is an association that has been committed for years to bringing comfort and smiles to the young patients hospitalized at the "Pietro Barilla" Children's Hospital in Parma . With over 200 volunteers , the association offers psychological support , playtime, and recreational activities to help children navigate their hospital stay more peacefully.
The sum raised, equal to €1,500 , will help fund an important psychological support project dedicated to children facing difficult experiences, such as an MRI scan, and their families.
“Seeing how individuals and companies support us and seeing the constantly growing number of volunteers asking to join us confirms that we are considered an integral and reliable part of a community,” said Corrado Vecchi , president of Giocamico.
